The Israeli army reserves, Yisrael Zeef, said today, Saturday, that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has developed the ways of fighting it, stressing that the introduction of large forces to the Gaza Strip increases the chances of suffering from injuries.
This came after the occupation army announced the injury of two major officers and 7 soldiers in a mine explosion northern Gaza Strip.
He added that the injured belong to the “Jerusalem Brigade” in the Shujaiya neighborhood, and that among the injured, the deputy commander of the 252nd Division and the commander of the battalion 6310.
He also mentioned that clashes are still taking place in the Genenine neighborhood, east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, with what he called “saboteurs” belonging to Major General Rafah.
According to Israeli sites, the occupation army helicopters have transferred a number of injured soldiers to the “Tel Hashomer” hospital in central Israel.
She added that the event is related to the exposure of an Israeli military mechanism to directly targeting an anti -armor missile.
Earlier today, correspondents of military affairs on Israeli channels focused on what they described as a “difficult day” in which elite units incurred heavy losses, expressing their fear that the fighting escalated during the coming days, in light of the shootings and continuous clashes from street to street.
The Al -Qassam Brigades had broadcast several scenes during a series called “Doors of Hell” documenting ambushes against the occupation soldiers and clashes in the inception of incursion that killed and wounded a number of Israeli officers and soldiers.
The Palestinian resistance operations have recently escalated, and the Israeli army has admitted that 6 soldiers were killed – at least – since the aggression on Gaza resumed on March 18.
