The UN Security Council held an emergency session with a European invitation and Algerian support on the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The British delegate in the council called for lifting the ban on the entry of aid to Gaza now. For his part, the Undersecretary of the Secretary -General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Flechcher, warned members of the Security Council that the United Nations behavior reviews indicated that the organization failed to talk about the volume of violations during its commission.
