The military expert, Major General Fayez Al -Duwairi, suggested that the Israeli occupation army resort to a different military approach in terms of targets for its previous land maneuvers in the Gaza Strip in order to achieve the political level directions.

Al -Duwairi said – in his analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that the new Israeli approach is pushing towards the displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip and their displacement to the south of the Morag axis, in camps similar to Nazi detention centers.

The Morag axis is separated between the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south, with a length of 12 km from the Mediterranean Sea to the west to the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel in the east.

The Israeli approach – according to Al -Duwairi – is based on the policy of starvation, as the Gaza Strip has witnessed a suffocating siege since the beginning of last March, and the occupation prohibits the introduction of humanitarian, relief and pharmaceutical aid.

The military expert believes that the occupation army will secure an enhanced force of the ground forces, which is represented by air force and missile artillery and intense sea shelling to force the Gazans to go out under the pressure of starvation and fire.

Based on this supposed scene, who will remain in the region between the northern Gaza Strip and Morag’s axis will be one of the Palestinian resistance factions.

As for the forces required to implement the new approach, Al -Duwairi confirmed the ability of the occupation army to provide the necessary force to expand the operation, pointing out that he paid 3 military teams – the third of the forces from each division – into the Strip, and invited 60,000 reserve forces.

According to a previous Israeli announcement, “The 143rd Division is concentrated in the Tal Al -Sultan and Al -Shaboura neighborhoods in Rafah and the vicinity of Khan Yunis, while the 36th Division is spread in the Rafah area along the Morag axis, and the 252nd Division operates in Shujaiya and Beit Lahia in the north.”

According to the military expert, the summoned reserve forces will be sent to the West Bank and the borders of Syria and Lebanon, with the withdrawal of the regular forces from those areas to the Gaza Strip.

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled some of the features of the upcoming military operation, saying that Tel Aviv decided to carry out a “strong operation in Gaza to eliminate Hamas”, claiming that this matter helps to restore the detained prisoners.

Netanyahu indicated that the new attack on Gaza will be “intense” with the aim of defeating Hamas, pointing out that the Israeli forces “will not launch raids and then give up the lands in Gaza and will remain in it.”

He claimed that the residents of Gaza will be transferred to protect them during the attack, “amid Palestinian and Arab concerns about Israeli plans to displace the Gazans due to the proximity of the area where the occupation intends to pushed Gaza to the Egyptian border.

In turn, a spokesman for the Israeli army said on Sunday that the new military operation in Gaza will include a large -scale attack that includes the transportation of the population to the southern Gaza Strip, claiming that the military action would lead to “the release of the hostages (prisoners) and undermine the Hamas authority.”
