The United Nations Office for Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territories renewed its call to Israel to end what it called “absurd killing” in the occupied West Bank.

The office said that Israel should stop “all the executions outside the judiciary and other illegal uses of force in the occupied West Bank.”

The UN office recorded that the Israeli occupation forces had killed two Palestinian men in planned executions during the past two weeks.

He added that 7 other Palestinians “were killed in circumstances raising concerns about the use of an unnecessary or incompatible force.”

The UN human rights office also reported that an Israeli woman was shot dead on a highway in the West Bank by those who have not been identified.

In a statement, the office affirmed that Israel must “ensure that all those responsible for illegal killings are submitted to justice in fair trials.”

He pointed out that “hidden” Israeli forces executed a 30 -year -old Palestinian man in the old town of Nablus, on May 8.

Temporary murder

The Human Rights Office stated that the footage of the surveillance cameras showed that “a disguised officer killed the man while he was trying to surrender and then shot him again while he was lying on the ground with injury and miracle” to confirm the killing apparently. “

He considered that the claims of the occupation forces that the man was “armed and pose a threat to them, contradicting the evidence that appeared in the video.”

On May 2, the occupation forces chased a 39 -year -old Palestinian in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus and killed him, and claimed that they had found “a pistol and cartridges in his car, but she did not claim that he was a threat to life at the moment when he was fired.”

On May 14, the Israeli security forces fired live ammunition and hit a Palestinian youth in his thigh near the Qalandia refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem, and a video showed two Israeli soldiers “kicking the man repeatedly in the head while he was wounded on the ground.”

The United Nations Office for Human Rights stressed that the Israeli security forces should guarantee that the measures taken after the attack on international law, including the prohibition of collective punishment.
