7 Palestinians, including 5 from one family, were killed, and others were wounded today, Saturday, after a separate Israeli shelling on the Gaza Strip, which has been exterminated for 19 months, while hunger threatens the lives of tens of thousands of children.
Local sources reported that the occupation war planes bombed a tent that housed displaced people in the Al -Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, which led to the death of 5 citizens from the Tibet family, who are Saqr Ahmed Fouad Tibet, his wife Hind, and their sons Ahmed, Hamza and Abdel Aziz.
The plane of a march also targeted citizens in the Al -Tafah neighborhood of Gaza City, which led to a Palestinian martyrdom, in conjunction with the implementation of blowing operations in the areas east of Al -Shuja’ia neighborhood.
The occupation’s military boats fired heavily towards the beach of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian Mohammed Saeed Al -Bardawil was martyred.
The artillery shelling also hit the north of Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a medical source said that a Palestinian child was killed by Israeli shot on the coast of the north of the city of Rafah.
The source pointed out that two Palestinians were wounded in an Israeli artillery shelling targeting a gathering of civilians west of Rafah.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli artillery bombed intermittently during the night hours of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis.
Empty stomachs
For its part, the Gaza government warned of the danger of famine that threatens the lives of more than 65,000 children in the Strip, in light of the continued Israeli siege and the prevention of the introduction of assistance and basic materials for more than two months.
The government media office in the Gaza Strip said – in a statement – that the Israeli occupation engineers a famine that kills civilians, and continues to commit an organized crime against more than 2.4 million civilians, by closing the crossings and preventing the entry of 39,000 aid truck, fuel and medicine, in a flagrant violation of international law.
He added that all bakeries in the Gaza Strip have stopped working 40 days ago, which led to the deprivation of residents of bread, the basic food, and the exacerbation of famine and malnutrition, especially between children, patients and the elderly.
He pointed out that thousands of children have become threatened with death due to malnutrition and lack of food, as a result of Israel using starvation policy as a weapon against civilians.
UN warning
Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs said that the Gaza Strip is under a complete siege for the third month in a row.
He added that 70% of the population of the Gaza Strip is in military areas or under orders of displacement or both.
The UN office stated that people are dying in Gaza, and that it is ready to intensify aid as soon as the siege was lifted.
Israel continues a widespread genocide against the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, including killing, destruction, starvation and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and the orders of the International Court of Justice to stop them.
This Israeli war -which is supported by the United States -left more than 172,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
