The Palestinian resistance continued its operations against the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, and varied between destroying military vehicles and bombing concentrations of occupation soldiers. While the Israeli bombing continued on tents for the displaced and UNRWA headquarters, leaving martyrs and wounded, Israeli media reported that the army had ended most of its ground operations in Rafah.

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced that it had destroyed an Israeli engineering vehicle of the “Ofek Carpet” type with a guided missile west of Tal Zo’rob in Rafah, confirming that the vehicle had caught fire.

The brigades explained that they then targeted the rescue forces upon their arrival at the location with “Rajum” missiles.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters – in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades – this morning renewed their bombardment of a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells near the “Awadallah Junction” in the “Yabna” camp, south of Rafah.

The Brigades also confirmed that they bombed concentrations of the occupation forces penetrating south of the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, with mortar shells.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – announced that it – along with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs and the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades – bombed the Kissufim military site with mortar shells.

The Al-Quds Brigades had previously announced that it had bombed, with a missile attack, a position of Israeli occupation army soldiers on Al-Rashid Street in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City.

Dozens of martyrs

This comes at a time when the Israeli bombing continues on several areas in the Gaza Strip.

A short while ago, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that there were casualties as a result of an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the vicinity of displaced persons’ tents in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis.

The correspondent also pointed out that the occupation forces are firing smoke bombs east of the city of Rafah.

Medical sources confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that the number of martyrs from the Israeli bombing of Gaza City had risen to 60 within 24 hours.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in Israeli raids at dawn today that targeted a building near Al-Jawhara Tower, in the center of Gaza City, and a house in the Beach Camp, west of the city. He also reported that 9 were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in Gaza said that a Palestinian woman was martyred, and others were injured to varying degrees, as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

In the west of Khan Yunis, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that a number of Palestinians were injured, as a result of an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the vicinity of the tents of displaced people in Al-Mawasi.

Israeli military vehicles made limited advances into the Shaboura camp in the city of Rafah, and from the Al-Mawasi area towards the north of the city.

Anadolu Agency quoted witnesses as saying that continuous clashes are breaking out between Palestinian resistance factions and Israeli forces penetrating the center and west of Rafah.

Targeting an UNRWA headquarters

8 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the headquarters of the Vocational Training College of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) west of Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported from medical sources that 4 Palestinians were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted the eastern gate of the UNRWA headquarters in the Al-Sinaa area, south of Gaza City.

UNRWA said that there is no safe place in Gaza. She added that this blatant disregard for humanitarian law and a ceasefire must be stopped immediately.

The agency indicated that 69% of school buildings that housed displaced people in Gaza were bombed or directly damaged.

In Rafah, the Israeli army destroyed hundreds of Palestinian homes in the Saudi neighborhood and downtown areas after blowing them up with explosives.

In total, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced – on Sunday – that the toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip had risen to 37,598 martyrs and 86,032 injuries since last October 7.

Ending ground operations

On the other hand, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper quoted sources as saying that the Israeli occupation army had ended most of the ground operations specified by the political leadership in Rafah, and said that the army was practically in control of the Philadelphia axis.

Yedioth Ahronoth explained that the political leadership had set the goal of striking 60% of the Hamas brigades in Rafah, and completing the mission through repeated operations during the following months.
