US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib expressed her disgust that her colleagues in the House of Representatives would support legislation that would prevent US officials from even mentioning the number of Palestinian deaths resulting from the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for nearly 9 months.

She denounced racism towards the Palestinians among members of the US House of Representatives.

She stated that the indicators of this racism are that her fellow representatives do not want to recognize the Palestinians as living, and now they are trying to erase them as dead, which represents a denial of the genocide against them.

Tlaib reviewed the numbers of martyrs and wounded in the Gaza Strip, including children, noting that these Palestinian victims are not just numbers, as behind every number there are fathers, mothers and children whose lives were stolen and whose families were torn apart.

Rashida Tlaib is a politician and the first Palestinian-American representative in Congress. She was born in 1976. She took it upon herself to defend the rights of the poor and achieve justice for the people of her district for a better life. She was the voice of Palestine that resonated throughout Congress, and she fought many ongoing battles to defend the Palestinians’ right to their land. She was known for her clear rejection of unconditional American support for Israel.

Earlier, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) published audio recordings of pro-Israel supporters discussing ways to kill Palestinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib during her visit to Arizona last week.

Pro-Israel activists also discussed – on the X platform – “ways to kill” Tlaib, and audio recordings published by Kerr offered a discussion of the possibility of targeting Tlaib during her visit to Arizona. They also looked into “ways to sexually harass, harass, and even kill Tlaib during her visit to Arizona.”

The CAIR statement said that Israel’s supporters discussed during those recordings “if what “It was legal to shout a sexually explicit insult” at Tlaib. The discussion also touched on “Arizona’s gun laws.”
