Since dawn on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces have stormed several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, and have begun arresting a number of Palestinians, at a time when attacks by Israeli settlers have escalated.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh in the central West Bank from its northern entrance, and began besieging several streets surrounding the Palestinian presidential headquarters in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested in the city of Al-Bireh, Abla Saadat, the wife of prisoner Ahmed Saadat, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The forces raided the family home with the participation of 13 military vehicles. They also arrested a young man and a female student after raiding another home in the Al-Janan neighborhood.
In turn, Ibaa Saadat, the daughter of prisoner Ahmed Saadat, told Tel Aviv Tribune that she is worried about her mother’s fate, especially since she is suffering from difficult health conditions, in light of the difficult conditions in Israeli prisons.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern outskirts of Balata camp, east of Nablus, and the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.
Israeli special forces also stormed the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, raided a house, arrested a Palestinian, and sent military reinforcements to the camp, amid the outbreak of clashes with Palestinian youths.
The occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron, south of the West Bank, and raided the home of the martyr Abdul Qader Al-Qawasmi, who carried out the tunnel operation that took place 11 months ago at the tunnel checkpoint south of Jerusalem, and led to the death of a soldier and the injury of 7.
At the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, south of Hebron, the occupation forces abused citizens, detained a woman and her child, and confiscated citizens’ vehicles.

Settler attacks
On Monday, Israeli settlers launched attacks targeting Palestinian communities in the West Bank, while the Israeli army stormed several villages and towns and confiscated property.
In the southern West Bank, a Palestinian citizen was shot by settlers in the village of Susya, south of the city of Hebron, according to what the head of the village’s local council, Jihad Nawajaa, stated.
Also south of Hebron, the principal of Palestine Mixed Elementary School, Maha Ahmed, said that the Israeli army stormed the school during the day, during school hours.
Seven Palestinians were injured and two people, one of whom was an Israeli activist, were arrested after settlers and the Israeli army stormed the Al-Ma’arjat School northwest of the city of Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank.
For its part, the official Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said that a citizen was attacked on Monday evening by settlers in a residential complex in the village of Susya, east of the city of Yatta.
She stated that settlers assaulted a number of citizens, beating them, and that the assault resulted in a female citizen from the Abu Malsh family sustaining wounds and bruises, and she was subsequently transferred to the hospital, where her condition was described as moderate.
East of Masafer Yatta, WAFA reported that Israeli forces seized a number of vehicles in the Al-Fakhari area in the village of Al-Karmel and arrested citizen Muhammad Al-Harini while he was trying to confront the settlers who tried to seize his land.
The forces also arrested citizen Hatem Makhamreh and seized his agricultural tractor after assaulting him and his son Ali, near the entrance to Carmel-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta.
In the northern West Bank, WAFA reported that Israeli occupation forces and settlers stormed the village of Atouf in the northern Jordan Valley on Monday evening and seized a bulldozer.
In Nablus Governorate, the agency said that settlers stormed lands in the town of Beita, south of the city, under the protection of occupation soldiers, which led to the outbreak of clashes, without recording any injuries.
Since the outbreak of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which has resulted in a total of 705 Palestinians being killed, including 159 children, about 5,700 wounded, and about 10,700 arrested, according to official Palestinian data.
