Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani expressed his belief that the best way to conclude an agreement that would put an end to the war in Gaza is to cease fire, stop the killings, put an end to the atrocities committed in the Strip, and also negotiate the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.
He added, “I believe that if this is achieved, then we can reach an agreement within days, but as I mentioned previously, there is no clarity from the Israeli side, and I do not think it has such an option.”
The Qatari Prime Minister said, “Unfortunately, there is a kind of stereotyping, such that whenever we talk about an agreement and a possible ceasefire, there are many Israeli politicians who take us back by talking about the army remaining in Gaza and continuing the war, and therefore there is no clarity about what the situation will be like in Gaza after that.” that”.
He explained that talking about the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip is premature, noting that reconstruction requires 40 to 50 billion dollars.
