Qatar sends 116 tons of additional aid to the Gaza Strip News


The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 3 planes belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in the Egyptian city of Al-Arish carrying aid to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that with these three aircraft, Qatar has sent 42 aircraft with a total of 1,362 tons of aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that this aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s support for the Palestinian people and its full support for them during the difficult humanitarian circumstances they are currently exposed to.

In addition to sending tons of aid to Gaza, Qatar received yesterday the second batch of wounded Palestinians from the Strip for treatment in Doha, and the first batch of wounded arrived on the fourth of December.

Qatar also evacuated 89 Palestinians holding Qatari residency from the Gaza Strip through the city of Al-Arish via a Qatari Armed Forces plane, in coordination with the Egyptian government.

For more than two months, the Gaza Strip has been facing Israeli aggression, which resulted in about 18,000 martyrs and about 47,000 wounded, most of them women and children, in addition to widespread destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
