Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lulwah Al Khater, announced the arrival of a second group of wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip for treatment in Doha.
Al Khater stated in a tweet on the X platform yesterday, Saturday, that the second batch arrived on board a medical evacuation plane belonging to the Emiri Air Force.
She wrote, “Each of them has a story. There are those who lost a home, and there are those who lost loved ones, and there are those who lost an arm or a leg, and there are those who lost all of that, but despite all that, they did not lose their faith, nor did they lose their beauty of patience, nor did they lose a smile of contentment from the heart. May God protect you and reward you with the strength of the Mighty and Powerful, Oh “Our loved ones.”
She thanked the Palestinian Embassy in Doha, the Ministry of Health, and the Egyptian Red Crescent for their cooperation and facilitation in the process of transporting the injured.

The first batch of wounded arrived on the fourth of December, and Al-Khater said at the time that the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, directed the treatment of 1,500 Palestinians injured as a result of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, in addition to sponsoring 3,000 children who lost their parents in sector.
Qatar also evacuated 89 Palestinians holding Qatari residency from the Gaza Strip, via the city of Al-Arish, via a Qatari Armed Forces plane, in coordination with the Egyptian government.
Al Khater visited the Gaza Strip on November 26 as part of a Qatari diplomatic delegation, to supervise the process of introducing and delivering a Qatari aid package to the Palestinian people. This was the first visit by a senior Arab official to the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7th.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the Israeli war on the besieged Strip, Qatar has sent 38 planes loaded with 1,243 tons of aid, which included food, medical and shelter supplies, in addition to a field hospital and ambulances.
For more than two months, the Gaza Strip has been facing a war from the Israeli occupation, which resulted in more than 17,000 martyrs and about 50,000 wounded, most of them women and children, in addition to widespread destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
