Provocative walking by right -wing Israelis increases tensions in Jerusalem | News Israel-Palestine Conflict


Thousands of right-wing Israelis crossed the occupied East Jerusalem to celebrate the city’s Israeli occupation in 1967 after the six-day war.

They made their way in the Palestinian districts, singing “death to the Arabs” and anti-Islamic slogans.

The police were sent in advance, while the settlers regularly attack and regularly harass the Palestinians in the Muslim district.

The right -wing Israelis also stormed the headquarters of the United Nations Agency for Relief and Works for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in the Sheikh Jarrah district.

The procession of last year, held during the first year of the Gaza War, saw ultra -nationalist Israelis attacking a Palestinian journalist in the old town and calling for violence against the Palestinians. Four years ago, the march contributed to the outbreak of an 11 -day war in Gaza.
