“Prémeditis Genocide”: Lula’s Lula’s Slams Israel on the Gaza War | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

Lula criticism Israel during the visit of Paris, while the German FM expresses rare criticism of the assault in Gaza and the colonies of West Bank.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva accused Israel of having made a “premeditated genocide” in Gaza during a visit to Paris, because it appeared that the army had killed at least 52 people in its last attack in besieged coastal leclave where an enriching blockage is feeding the famine.

“What is happening in Gaza is not a war. It is a genocide carried out by a highly prepared army against women and children,” Lula said at a joint press conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron.

“(It is) a premeditated genocide of a far-right government which waged a war, including against the interests of its own people,” he said about the offensive of Israel at 20 months, which has killed at least 54,607 Palestinians so far, according to the Enclave Ministry of Health.

According to medical sources, at least 52 people were killed on Thursday, including women and children, who spoke in Tel Aviv Tribune, in the growing concern of fatal incidents on aid distribution sites managed by the Gaza Humanitarian controversy Foundation since last week.

While Lula has already used the term “genocide” to characterize Israel’s actions in Gaza, Macron reserved a judgment, claiming last month that he was not for a “political leader to use the term, but to historians to do so when the time comes”.

The conviction by the Brazilian leader of the Israel’s offensive from the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul told his Israeli counterpart on a visit, Gideon Saar, to allow more humanitarian aid to the enclave in accordance with “international law prevailing”.

Last week, Wadephul said that Germany assessed “if what’s going on in Gaza is in accordance with international law” and that weapons sales in Israel are assessed on this basis.

Wadephul also said that he was “concerned about the extremely tense situation in the West Bank”, describing the announcement of the Israeli government that this would allow 22 additional colonies in occupied territory, saying that it was further threatening the two -state solution.

On Thursday, King Abdullah of Jordan congratulated Spain for having recognized Palestine and called at the end of the war in Gaza during a meeting with King Felipe in Madrid. He said work was underway to obtain European support.

Jordan’s state news agency Petra said it saying that work was underway to exploit European support for an Arab plan to rebuild Gaza without moving its residents, as threatened by US President Donald Trump this year.
