Official launch of the electoral campaign in Portugal, two weeks before the early legislative elections.
The latest polls give the advantage to the center-right coalition, led by the leader of the Social Democratic Party, Luis Montenegro.
The Socialist Party led by Pedro Nuno Santos remains in second position.
These elections were triggered by the resignation of Socialist Prime Minister Antonio Costa last November, following an investigation into corruption allegations.
According to these same polls, the far-right party, Chega, is in ambush and continues to gain ground.
But none of the three political forces seems able to obtain a majority and an alliance between the center-right and the far right cannot be ruled out.
