Lineker, a sports presenter on the BBC, had reposted a tweet from the Palestinian Academic and Cultural Boycott Against Israel (BDS) campaign, which included a statement issued by the Palestinian Football Association, calling on FIFA and the International Olympic Committee to impose sanctions on Israel.
