For his part, the Minister of State in the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, called, during a session entitled “Palestine has become a global crisis…Does it have a global solution?”, to focus on the ceasefire and give it the highest priority, explaining that this is what Qatar is working on in coordination. With other countries. He stressed the need for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities as well.
Minister Al-Khulaifi said, “We need to do more and focus on that the top priority is a ceasefire and helping the people of Gaza, and this is what we are working on with our partners in the international community.”
He pointed out that since the first hours of the war, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs formed a working team “with the aim of cooperating with the international community to prevent the conflict from expanding beyond its borders, and to prevent regional and international powers from interfering, which could lead to the aggravation and escalation of this conflict.”

Al-Khulaifi pointed out that any force working to escalate and worsen the situation in this “conflict” will complicate mediation efforts aimed at finding a solution to the issue, so Qatar worked to convey this message clearly, “as we communicated with a large number of regional countries, because coordination is extremely important instead of escalating the situation.” .
He continued, “We spoke with the United States, Iran, and all countries in the region, especially prominent and international stakeholders. It is important to unite, cooperate, and discuss transparently all elements of this crisis to avoid any interference that leads to escalation of the situation.”

Al-Khulaifi said that Palestine “occupies a very important place on our international relations agenda and has priority in global affairs, and we contribute with the international community to support and assist the Palestinian people. We have been transparent in providing humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza, and establishing infrastructure in direct coordination with our international partners, including The United Nations, and we do this for free, but it is our commitment and duty towards our brothers in Palestine.”
Regarding the post-war scenario, he stressed that the State of Qatar will not change its responsibility, which is to “help our brothers,” and “we will do this in an organized manner as we did before and in cooperation with our regional and global partners to ensure that our aid reaches those most exposed to conflicts.”
The minister pointed out that this assistance includes “supporting infrastructure, health care, education and assisting the education of the Palestinian people,” which is what we highlight and do in all countries of the region, not just Gaza, he explained.
