Occupied Jerusalem- Despite being about 100 kilometers away from it, the Palestinian Maysoon Jabareen (Umm Muhammad), from the city of Kafr Qara, north of the 1948 territories, has been visiting Al-Aqsa Mosque for many years, and she says that she cannot bear to be cut off from it.
The Jerusalem page, on the Tel Aviv Tribune Net website, accompanied Umm Muhammad from the moment she arrived in the city of Jerusalem and then Al-Aqsa Mosque, the place she loves and feels safe.
Umm Muhammad spoke about the secrets of her attachment to the place, and the great happiness she feels in its spaciousness, as well as her feeling of security despite the restrictions surrounding the mosque.
Umm Muhammad says that she has never called a prayer inside the mosque without it being answered. She adds that she feels blessed in all areas of her life, and the most difficult moment for her is when she leaves the mosque to return to her home.
Umm Muhammad describes Al-Aqsa as “oxygen and medicine for every sick person,” addressing all Palestinians, “Come to Al-Aqsa, travel to it, neither for laziness nor for fear, here is the treatment for every sick person, here is the healing.”
She added, “We are not worth anything without Al-Aqsa. Al-Aqsa is in our blood… Each of us asks himself: What did he give to Al-Aqsa?”
Umm Muhammad indicates that she is preparing to perform Umrah and visit Medina and Mecca, and her heart is attached to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
