The joint operations room of the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza confirmed – today, Monday – that “there is a lot that the enemy will see in the coming days,” praising the unit of fighters in the field, which “represented a great spectacle and a factor of strength for the resistance.”
She indicated – in a statement published on the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” attack on October 7, 2023 – that the attack “dishonored the usurping entity and overthrew the theory of deterrence that the enemy tried to establish.”
The Joint Chamber of the Resistance Factions pointed out that the crossing of October 7 and what followed it “constituted a turning point in the struggle of our people and our nation and will be recorded in history as a major turning point.”
The resistance factions stressed that their leadership, represented by the joint room, is “unified in its decision and vision.”
She explained that the anger of the Palestinian people reached its peak on October 7, 2023, with the continuation of “the aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque, its desecration, desecration, and dividing it temporally and spatially, as well as paving the way for its demolition and the construction of the alleged temple.”
Palestinian anger also increased before the “flood” due to the crimes committed by the occupation against prisoners in Israeli prisons, especially the repressive measures taken by Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir against them, according to the statement.
The Palestinian statement stated that the occupation strangled Gaza with its continuous siege, seeking its slow death, while it accelerated the implementation of its plans to annex the West Bank. The factions confirmed that for these and other reasons, “the resistance exploded in the face of the executioner, and our people fought their occupiers with their nails.”
The resistance factions said, “Had it not been for our people’s embrace of their resistance and heroes in the face of the occupation’s aggression, and their rejection of the displacement plans outside the Gaza Strip, the resistance would not have been able to withstand the mighty occupation war machine.”
The statement praised the “heroic operations in the West Bank and the occupied Palestinian interior,” as well as the resistance in Palestinian cities and camps, which is developing its tools and confronting the occupation forces.
The Joint Chamber concluded its statement by saluting the resistance fronts in “Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq” for their support of the Palestinian people and their direct involvement in the battle “by targeting the occupation forces and their military bases and inflicting great losses on them.” It also praised the “strong attacks” carried out by Iran against “the Zionist entity, declaring its support for our people and its resistance.”
