Palestinian factions: The occupation’s plans to administer Gaza are a “failed conspiracy” | News

The Palestinian factions said that the Israeli occupation’s plans to establish a political administration under civilian names to administer the Gaza Strip will fail in the face of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the resistance, stressing that the failure of the aggression made the occupation anticipate the outcome of the war by claiming to form a civil administration for the Strip under its control.

This came in a statement yesterday evening, Saturday, by the “Follow-up Committee for National and Islamic Forces,” which includes most of the Palestinian factions, led by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Democratic Front.

The factions added that the occupation aims, through this, to impose a reality in Gaza that is managed by it and those subject to its dictates through the name of civil or tribal administration, and that the creation of local civil or tribal bodies, as the occupation claims, to manage the sector, “will not be achieved.”

The factions confirmed – in the statement published by the Hamas movement – that Israel is still seeking “its old and new plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause and displace our people, but this plan will fail and fall,” considering that any dealing with these proposals is “a national betrayal that no one will accept.”

Since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip, Israeli officials have spoken about managing the Strip after the war, and what they called the “post-Hamas” phase. Hebrew media reported that Israeli disagreements continue regarding this matter, while the movement and several Palestinian factions responded that the management of Gaza is a private Palestinian matter.

This is accompanied by the continuation of confrontations between the occupation and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and the aggression against the Gaza Strip continues for the 93rd day, leaving nearly 30,000 dead or missing and 58,166 injured, and the displacement of residents of several areas in the Gaza Strip, in addition to massive destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities, and hospitals.
