Palestinian Endowments Warn of Israeli Incitement Against Al-Aqsa | News

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs warned of the escalation of Israeli incitement against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry commented, in a statement, on the publication by the extremist Israeli group “Temple Trustees” of a video recording showing the burning of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock Mosque, accompanied by the comment “soon in these days.”

She said that the danger contained in the hate speech and the destruction of Islamic sanctities has become clear and does not need scrutiny and examination.

She added, “This destructive terrorist discourse, based on a set of myths and lies, has begun to announce its goals and plans clearly and explicitly.”

She considered this to be “an indication of the political and security support for these plans and visions by the occupation government and its security services, which protect this terrorist group during the daily incursions into Al-Aqsa.”

The Palestinian Endowments called on the international community to stop this nonsense and madness by these groups, which enjoy clear government support.

She called on the people of Jerusalem to be careful and attentive for fear that these extremists would implement their plans, and to work on daily vigilance and permanent presence inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Earlier on Thursday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry warned in a statement posted on its Facebook account “against the consequences of extremist Jewish organizations committing a major crime against Al-Aqsa.”

The ministry indicated in its statement that this is not the first time that the so-called “Temple Mount Organizations” Union has incited against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the image of the alleged temple in place of the Dome of the Rock is constantly promoted.

The statement added that the ministry views this ongoing incitement with great seriousness, especially since it is accompanied by the escalation in the storming of the mosque by Jewish extremists and the performance of Talmudic prayers and religious rituals in its courtyards in an unprecedented manner, especially epic prostration, blowing the trumpet, various forms of dance, raising the Israeli flag, and others.

The far-right Israeli organization calls for “establishing the Temple in place of Al-Aqsa Mosque” and actively calls for extremists to storm the mosque’s courtyards.

On August 21, 1969, an Australian extremist named Dennis Michael Rohan stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Al-Ghawanmeh Gate and set fire to the Al-Qibli prayer hall in the mosque. This came as part of a series of measures taken by the Israeli occupation since 1948, with the aim of obliterating the Islamic cultural identity of the city of Jerusalem.
