Leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Osama Hamdan, confirmed that the Israeli occupation has not achieved any achievement on the ground since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October.
Hamdan said, during a press conference from Beirut, that the occupation’s killing of 109 journalists so far, the most recent of whom is Hamza al-Dahdouh, the son of our colleague Wael al-Dahdouh, is deliberate, and will not prevent the world from knowing the truth about the crimes taking place in Gaza.
Hamdan explained that 3 months after the Israeli war in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance is still fine, and the rockets that the occupation pledged to stop are still being launched towards Israel, which has failed to achieve its declared goals of the war, including the release of prisoners held by the resistance, pointing out that about 4% A resident of the Gaza Strip was killed, wounded and missing after 93 days of aggression.
Hamdan stressed that the repeated talk of the occupation leaders about the voluntary migration of the people of Gaza, by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a number of his ministers, is nothing but an expression of illusions and dreams that will not come true, and these settlers, strangers to our land, will migrate once again and forever to their homelands from which they came. .
South Africa’s position
He reiterated that the Gaza Strip will only be purely Palestinian, and that the Palestinian people are the ones who decide their present and future, which will only be an integral part of the independent, fully sovereign State of Palestine, with Jerusalem as its capital. He appreciated South Africa’s positions in solidarity with the Palestinian people and its filing of a lawsuit against Israel before the International Court of Justice regarding the occupation’s crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
He called on the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the African Union to support and support South Africa’s position, and to build on it, to file more lawsuits in international courts, prosecuting this fascist entity for its crimes against the Palestinian people.
Hamdan pointed out that the Israeli assassination in Beirut, which targeted Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau, and two leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, in a drone attack on a building in the southern suburb, “will not break us and will not affect the resolve of the resistance.”
