Orthodox Rabbi: Israel is the most dangerous place for Jews in the world | News

Anti-Zionist Orthodox rabbi Elhanan Beck revealed that Israel had failed to provide security for the Jews to the point that it had become the most dangerous place for them, pointing out that Muslims had saved the Jews from persecution throughout history, and that the liberation of Palestine must be from the sea to the river.

Beck, who is considered one of the most prominent clerics in Britain, said, “Travel around the world and in the end you will see that the most dangerous place for a Jew today is Israel.”

He added – in an interview with Anadolu – that he has lived in Britain for 36 years, and concluded that Jews live in peace and security all over the world, even in Muslim countries.

Beck, a member of the anti-Zionist Jewish movement Neturei Karta (Guardians of the City), pointed out that the latter contributed greatly to anti-Semitism, and described Zionism as a “betrayal of God,” pointing out that the Israeli attacks on Gaza are a real tool for genocide.

Muslims have saved Jews throughout history

The Orthodox rabbi pointed out the role that Muslims have played throughout history in the lives of the Jewish people, saying, “We were persecuted in many parts of the world, and Muslims saved us throughout history. They gave us an ideal place to live in. Whoever knows a little about history knows that the Jews lived a wonderful life in Islamic countries.

He believed that the Zionists always try to claim that Muslims “want to exterminate all Jews and throw them into the sea,” and he considered these allegations to be nonsense, denying the accusations against Muslims of anti-Semitism.

He continued by saying that despite 75 years since Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories, Jews still live in peace in the Islamic world, pointing to the Jewish communities in Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Iran, Turkey and Yemen.

I do not consider Netanyahu a Jew

In addition to his position on Zionism and the founding of Israel, Beck criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his role in the genocide committed by Tel Aviv in Gaza. He said that he does not consider Netanyahu a Jew, describing him as “the prime minister of the people who rebelled against God.”

He added, “I cannot bear to see someone who can legitimize genocide, or commit it,” adding that Netanyahu was trying to portray himself as secular, by violating the daily sanctities of the Jewish faith.

He explained that during Netanyahu’s recent visit to Britain, he ate at a restaurant that served foods and drinks forbidden according to the Jewish faith.

Corbyn is a good friend of the Jews

He pointed out that anti-Semitism is no longer a source of threat to the Jewish people since the end of the Holocaust, questioning at the same time the allegations that Israel is working to save the Jewish people from the danger of anti-Semitism.

He said that any politician who used language against the Jews had his political career ended, and he gave an example of this to the former leader of the British Labor Party, Jeremy Corbyn, as the Zionists branded him anti-Semitic, and his political career was ended.

He stressed that Corbyn has no problem with the Jews, but he only opposes Israel’s occupation of Palestine, adding, “Look what they did to him. I know him personally, and he is a good friend of the Jewish people.”

The conflict did not begin in the “Al-Aqsa Flood”

Speaking about the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, Beck stressed that the conflict in Palestine did not begin with a Hamas attack, explaining that the conflict began on May 15, 1948, indicating that for the Palestinians it began with the Nakba, where the Palestinians were subjected to murders and genocide.

He stressed that what happened on October 7, 2023 was the result of Israeli policy, calling on world leaders to open their eyes and understand that helping Israel is not in the interest of the Jewish people.

He criticized Western countries, saying: We understand that they want to help Israel because they want to help the Jewish people, and they feel guilty about what happened in World War II, where more than 6 million Jews were killed, but what they are doing now is completely wrong.

Liberating Palestine from the river to the sea

Rabbi Beck highlighted that according to Orthodox Jewish faith, Jews are not allowed to rule even an inch of land (referring to Palestine).

He pointed out that his sect does not support the two-state solution, because it believes in the necessity of the disappearance of the State of Israel, and the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea, and that its problem lies with the occupation and the occupiers.

Beck stressed that his sect’s position on the founding of Israel does not mean killing or deporting Jews, but rather they can continue their lives normally, as is the case with Jews in other Islamic countries.
