Sources confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune on Tuesday that freed prisoner Yousef Muhanna, one of the founders of the Tulkarm Brigade, was injured in an attack by Palestinian Authority security forces in Attil, north of Tulkarm in the West Bank.

The sources reported that Muhanna’s injury was critical, noting that two others were injured in an attack by Palestinian Authority security forces in the city.

This morning, eyewitnesses reported that the Authority’s security services ambushed a group of resistance fighters in the town of Atil and opened fire on them, wounding a number of them, including a serious injury.

The witnesses added that the authorities confiscated the pursuers’ vehicle after shooting at them and wounding them in the town of Atil.

The new operation comes as sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune yesterday, Monday, that the security services of the Palestinian Authority set fire to homes whose residents were displaced as a result of the ongoing clashes in the Jenin camp in the northern occupied West Bank, while the resistance factions accused the Authority of crossing red lines and escalating the situation inside the camp.

The sources explained that 5 houses were set on fire in the “Dabbat al-Ghubaz” area south of Jenin camp, which has been controlled by the security services since the start of their campaign against the camp 34 days ago.

For his part, the official spokesman for the Palestinian security forces, Anwar Rajab, accused those he described as outlaws of setting fires to homes with the aim of disrupting people’s lives and disturbing them.
