One month in Ramallah: life and leadership under occupation | Documentary

In the heart of the occupied city of Ramallah, a governor leads his people through a month of sorrow, challenge and hope.

With rare access to the governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh, this film offers an intimate portrait of life under the Israeli occupation in the West Bank. For a month, Governor Laila Ghannam sailed in his city, which is marked by demonstrations, mourning, celebration and resilience.

In the midst of political tensions, it reveals how Ramallah works under occupation – how he breathes, resists and supports his most vulnerable. Moving between high -level policy and daily encounters, Ghannam reflects on the emotional and political landscape of his people, offering a powerful overview of the silent force and constancy of the Palestinians.

One month in Ramallah is a documentary film by Sawsan Qaoud.
