A Palestinian was martyred and two others were injured by Israeli army gunfire during their storming on Saturday evening of the town of Beit Furik, east of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that the child Sultan Abdul Rahman Sultan Khatatba (16 years old) was killed as a result of being hit by occupation bullets in Beit Furik.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society had announced that its crews in Nablus dealt with 3 injuries with live bullets in Beit Furik, one of which was in the chest and was described as very serious, while a 45-year-old citizen was injured by live bullets in the thigh, and a 16-year-old child was injured by live bullets in the foot, and they were transported. To the hospital.

The association added that the occupation forces attacked the driver of the Beit Furik municipal ambulance and smashed the vehicle’s windows while he was trying to reach an injured person in the town.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik amidst live bullets, wounding 3 citizens, including the child Khatahtbeh, whose death was later announced.

Activists circulated on social media platforms video clips of Israeli army forces in Beit Furik, and pictures of leaflets inciting against Palestinian factions, which they said the army had distributed in the town.

For his part, an Israeli military official confirmed that the soldiers opened fire during a raid.

He said that the forces were active in the Nablus area when “dozens of suspects threw stones at the Israeli security forces, who responded with riot dispersal means and live bullets.” He added, “Injuries have been identified,” without giving any details.

Incursions and confrontations

It is noteworthy that confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces, which stormed – at dawn on Saturday – a number of towns in the occupied West Bank, most notably Kfardan, west of Jenin, and Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Members of the occupation army stormed Kfardun, where armed clashes broke out with resistance fighters during the storming process. Israeli forces also conducted their patrols in the streets of the town before storming a number of homes.

Palestinian press sources reported that an armed clash took place between resistance fighters and the occupation forces, which also stormed the town of Burqin in Jenin.

At least 547 Palestinians in the West Bank were martyred by bullets from the Israeli occupation or settlers since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7.

Palestinian attacks led to the killing of at least 14 Israelis in the West Bank during the same period, according to Agence France-Presse.
