On the anniversary of the Nakba, Hamas calls for criminalizing Israel and ending the occupation News

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the Nakba of the Palestinian people, which has been ongoing for 76 years and the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, represents a disgrace on the foreheads of those who are silent towards it, and called for the criminalization of Israel and an end to the occupation.

A statement issued by the movement on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba said: “The aggression of the Zionist occupation, which has continued for 76 years, and the crimes of genocide that our people have been subjected to in the Gaza Strip for more than 7 months, constitute a disgrace on the foreheads of all those who are silent and reluctant to expose it, criminalize it, and work to stop it.” “.

Hamas said, “We call on our nation and all free people in the world to exert pressure by all means to stop the Zionist aggression against our land, our people, and our sanctities, and to support the steadfastness and struggle of our people who aspire to freedom and independence.”

The movement condemned “the American administration’s support and bias towards this ongoing Zionist aggression and crime in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the occupied city of Jerusalem, and the policy of double standards practiced by Western powers in dealing with the issue of our people and their legitimate rights.”

She stressed that this situation represents “a major sin against all human norms and values, which makes them partners in bearing responsibility for the genocide our people are subjected to. We renew our call for them to undo it, do justice to our people and their legitimate rights, and end the occupation.”

Hamas said, “The ongoing Al-Aqsa flood battle has proven to the world that our people do not know defeat, surrender, or surrender or abandon their land, their principles, and their rights, no matter how long it takes, and no matter the strength and crimes of the aggressor, his partners, and his supporters.”

She also said that the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle confirmed “the legitimacy of our people’s struggle and the justice of our cause and restored its global presence, as a just national liberation cause to achieve freedom, independence, self-determination, and the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,” according to the statement.

Today, Palestinians commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, and the term symbolizes the mass forced displacement in 1948 of more than 750,000 Palestinians from their villages and cities to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist movement – with the support of Britain – was able to control by force of arms, and through the massacres it committed against Palestinian civilians, the greater part of Palestine and declare the establishment of Israel on May 15, 1948.

Thus, the Zionist movement uprooted the Palestinians from 20 cities and about 400 Palestinian villages, whose properties and farms became part of the Israeli occupation state.
