The Israeli occupation forces continued their escalation in the occupied West Bank, as they stormed the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, yesterday evening, Sunday, and forcibly detained a child after assaulting two women.

A video clip spread on social media documenting the violence inflicted on the two women and the child during the child’s detention for a period of time, before he was later released.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces intensified their raids into the town of Al-Khader on an almost daily basis, harassing residents, conducting military patrols, placing barriers at the entrances to the town, and searching vehicles.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, the soldiers were stationed in the “Al-Bawaba,” “The Great Mosque,” and “Al-Balou’” areas, and fired poison gas and sound bombs, causing a state of panic among the residents, without recording any casualties.

As for the town of Ya`bad, southwest of Jenin, the occupation forces stormed the town from its eastern entrance, and violent confrontations broke out during which soldiers fired live bullets, leading to the death of the child Muhammad Rabie Jamal Hamarsheh (13 years old) and the young man Ahmed Mahmoud Zaid (20 years old).
