Occupation forces storm West Bank cities, blow up shops of Palestinian prisoner | News

The Israeli occupation army carried out a series of raids on cities and towns in the occupied West Bank at dawn on Thursday, during which it arrested a number of Palestinians and blew up shops belonging to a Palestinian prisoner.

An occupation army force stormed the shops and printing press of the Palestinian prisoner Ghanem Alqam (detained since September 17) and blew them up, causing them to burn completely.

The occupation army also stormed the town of Safa, west of Ramallah, raided Palestinian homes, arrested at least two citizens, and set up a military checkpoint near the village of Beit Ur al-Tahta.

It also stormed the city of Al-Bireh in the central West Bank, and arrested two freed prisoners before withdrawing.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the Israeli army stormed a number of neighborhoods, raided homes, and arrested a woman and 3 young men.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the Israeli army raided several towns, broke into homes and launched an arrest campaign.

Eyewitnesses reported that the army has been carrying out a military operation in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, for about 15 hours, during which it raided dozens of homes, arrested Palestinians, and shot a young man.

Withdrawal from Jenin

At dawn on Thursday, the Israeli army withdrew from the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank after a military operation that lasted about 18 hours, during which a woman was killed and 4 people were injured, according to official medical sources.

The Israeli army stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, blew up a house, and destroyed the infrastructure and streets.

The death toll in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has risen to 718 since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, as the Israeli army expanded its operations in conjunction with the escalation of settlers’ attacks against Palestinians and their property, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

These attacks carried out by the army and settlers resulted in the injury of about 5,750 Palestinians and the arrest of more than 10,900 others, according to official Palestinian institutions.
