The Israeli occupation forces stormed several areas in cities in the West Bank, and arrested 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners, while pictures obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune showed the moment the occupation forces executed the young man Rami Al-Aboushi in Al-Faraa camp in Tubas in the West Bank a few days ago.
Palestinian sources said that groups of settlers stormed the village of Nabaa al-Qaryut, south of the Nablus Governorate in the West Bank, while the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus, and the Sataf Marhaba neighborhood in al-Bireh, in addition to the town of Taffouh in the Hebron Governorate, south of the occupied West Bank.
These sources also spoke of the outbreak of confrontations between Palestinians and the occupation forces in Al-Fandakumiya, south of Jenin, in the West Bank.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Ramallah, surrounded a residential building in the Al-Tira neighborhood, and confiscated a vehicle before withdrawing from the place.
For his part, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that more than 30 military vehicles raided the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and stormed the Beitunia Boys’ School and several homes, and arrested 3 Palestinians, including a freed prisoner and a military intelligence officer, before withdrawing from the town.
Arrests
The occupation forces arrested 30 Palestinians the night before last and Monday morning, including two women and former prisoners, in various parts of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The Prisoners’ and Detainees’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported in a joint statement that the arrests were mainly concentrated in the Jerusalem and Hebron governorates. This brings the number to more than 3,760 prisoners since the seventh of last October. An Israeli court in the city of Jerusalem also imposed a 4-month administrative detention sentence on Sheikh Najeh Bakirat, Deputy Director General of the Islamic Endowments in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces also stormed an 8-storey building in the city of Dura, south of Hebron. The raid took more than 3 hours, during which the occupation detained a number of residents of the building before arresting the freed prisoner, Iyad Amr, and taking him to an unknown destination, after beating and assaulting him, according to what his family told Tel Aviv Tribune.
The execution of Al-Aboushi
Pictures obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune showed the moment the Israeli occupation forces executed the young man, Rami Al-Aboushi, in the Al-Faraa camp in Tubas, northeast of the West Bank, a few days ago.
The pictures show the occupation forces shooting the martyr Rami Al-Aboushi more than once, causing him to fall to the ground wounded, but then they opened fire on him again directly, leading to his immediate martyrdom.
Mansour Al-Aboushi, uncle of the martyr Rami, told Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation is avenging its failure in the Gaza Strip by killing Palestinian youth in the West Bank.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Monday denounced what it called a cold-blooded “sadistic execution” of the young man, Rami Al-Ayoushi, and said that it comes as part of a systematic policy followed by the occupation government, without finding any deterrent from the international community or international judicial institutions.
She added that this heinous crime, and before it the crime of executing two children, Adam Al-Ghoul (8 years old) and Basil Abu Al-Wafa (15 years old) in Jenin (north of the West Bank) in the same way, calls for serious international action, especially from the International Criminal Court, to hold Israel accountable.
Tel Aviv Tribune also monitored the occupation forces’ release of the prisoner Suhaib Amr, brother of the martyr Sari Amr, who was martyred two days ago in his home in the city of Dura, south of Hebron.
The occupation arrested Suhaib after Israeli forces killed Sari and have detained his body until now. Suhaib said in an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation informed him of the martyrdom of his brother at the moment of arrest, without him knowing anything during the period of detention.
Total strike
Shops, schools and government offices in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem were closed on Monday as part of a comprehensive strike to protest the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.
The strike, called locally by activists from Islamic and national factions and youth organizations, also included transportation, banks, and even bakeries, which were rarely included in strikes.
In addition to the strike, Palestinians demonstrated in downtown Ramallah in solidarity with the Gaza Strip and to demand an end to the war and the massacres of the Israeli occupation forces in the Strip.
The participants chanted slogans in support of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the resistance factions in Gaza and the escalation of resistance in the West Bank. The demonstrators in most parts of the West Bank also denounced the American veto in the UN Security Council regarding the draft resolution submitted to the UN Security Council, which called for a ceasefire in the Strip.
In the city of Hebron in the south, the city’s streets seemed almost completely empty of pedestrians, while shops closed their doors.
A march in support of the Gaza Strip took place in the city, during which participants carried the Palestinian flag and the Hamas flag.
