At dawn today, the occupation forces stormed the Balata camp, east of Nablus, and the town of Al-Ram, near Jerusalem.
Other forces surrounded a number of the camp’s neighborhoods, snipers were deployed at several points, and a bulldozer began bulldozing some neighborhoods and destroying property.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent stated that Balata camp witnessed the outbreak of violent clashes between the occupation forces and Palestinian resistance fighters who targeted Israeli vehicles with homemade explosive devices. The soldiers raided a number of homes and arrested some young men.
According to Palestinian websites, the resistance fighters targeted the invading forces with a heavy barrage of bullets and explosive devices, and engaged in very violent clashes with them.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two children were injured by bullet fragments from the occupation forces, which obstructed the work of ambulance crews during their storming of the camp.
Local sources say that Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire on the occupation forces during their withdrawal from the academy area, west of the city of Nablus.
The Tulkarm Brigades – Saraya Al-Quds reported yesterday that they had killed or wounded a number of occupation soldiers in a controlled ambush in the “Bat Hefer” settlement located in the lands of the city of Tulkarm, in the West Bank, by detonating devices remotely.
As part of the Israeli displacement policy, the occupation forces delivered 8 demolition notices to Palestinian homes in the village of “Khallet Al-Dabaa” in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and two notices to two other homes in the village of Al-Mufaqara in Masafer Yatta.
Near Jerusalem, local sources reported that an Israeli military force stormed the town of Al-Ram amid heavy firing of sound and gas bombs towards citizens.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that a number of soldiers, while passing in front of a store, threw gas bombs inside it, causing a number of citizens to suffer from suffocation.
In Tubas Governorate, the Al-Quds Brigades – Tammoun Groups confirmed that they responded to the occupation forces storming the town with bullets in more than one area, and “we detonated a number of explosive devices on enemy vehicles, which led to severe damage.”
