Northern Gaza welcomes Eid amid a stifling humanitarian crisis News news reports

Eid al-Adha falls this year, at a time when residents of the northern Gaza Strip are suffering from harsh living conditions, in light of the strict siege imposed by the Israeli occupation.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s camera monitored pictures of citizens and children queuing in long lines, hoping to obtain food rations that would satisfy their hunger and the hunger of their families.

The deteriorating humanitarian conditions deprived many families of the joy of Eid, amid a severe scarcity of basic resources and high rates of poverty and unemployment, due to the stifling occupation siege that led to the collapse of vital sectors and the exacerbation of crises at all levels.
