The WHO wants to be reassuring about the epidemic of respiratory infections which is hitting the country and which is saturating its hospitals.

The World Health Organization has asked Beijing “additional information on the circulation of pathogens” and on “the degree of congestion in the health system“. According to the information provided by Beijing, it believes that there are no new infections detected or unusual illnesses.
