Night raids and arrests of Palestinians in towns and cities in the West Bank News

Yesterday evening and Tuesday dawn, the Israeli army carried out a campaign of raids into various towns and cities of the occupied West Bank, accompanied by arrests of Palestinians.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent stated that the occupation forces stormed several towns in the governorates of Nablus, Qalqilya, Al-Bireh, Ramallah, Hebron, and Tulkarm.

In Nablus, the Palestinian News Agency said that confrontations broke out with Palestinians coinciding with the occupation army’s storming of the village of Qasra, south of the city. It added that the occupation forces detained dozens of citizens inside a school in the village, subjected them to field investigation, beat them, and arrested two of them before withdrawing from the village.

The occupation army also re-stormed the Al-Dhahr area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and confrontations broke out during the occupation’s storming of the town of Kafr Al-Labad, east of Tulkarm.

The army raided the towns of Azzun, Habla, and Hajjah in Qalqilya Governorate, and arrested at least a young man and a woman, according to witnesses.

Local sources reported to Anadolu Agency that the army also stormed the towns of Sinjil, Umm Safa, Deir Bazig and Ajul in Ramallah, and arrested 5 citizens. They explained that the raids took place in the early hours of dawn, before they later withdrew from those areas.

Two Palestinians were also injured and an ambulance was damaged as a result of settlers attacking them with stones on the outskirts of the village of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.

Settlers released their livestock onto citizens’ agricultural lands in the eastern region of the Batam people in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. The occupation forces and settlers also burned 25 dunums of citizens’ lands in the Safa area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Samu, south of Hebron, set up barriers, confiscated a number of vehicles, and also closed all entrances leading to Al-Fawwar camps, south of Hebron, and Al-Arroub, north of it.

Targeting children

In conjunction with its war on Gaza since October 7, the army and settlers escalated their attacks on the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, leaving 548 martyrs, including 133 children, and wounding about 5,200 citizens and more than 9,185 Palestinian detainees.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported, in a press statement, that the Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 640 Palestinian children in the Palestinian territories since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza, and confirmed that 250 child prisoners are being subjected to practices of abuse, torture, and medical crimes against them.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza with absolute American support, leaving more than 122,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, putting Tel Aviv into international isolation and causing it to be prosecuted before the International Court of Justice.

Israel continues its war despite two UN Security Council resolutions to stop it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah, take measures to prevent acts of genocide, and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israel is also challenging the request of International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan to issue arrest warrants against its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and its Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, for their responsibility for “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” in Gaza.
