The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation army committed 3 massacres that killed 34 martyrs and injured 96 within 24 hours, while international condemnations continued for Israel’s bombing of a school affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Nuseirat camp.

The ministry reported that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 41,118 martyrs, in addition to 95,125 wounded since October 7.

In developments related to this morning, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 9 people were killed and others were injured, most of them children and women, in an Israeli bombardment that targeted several neighborhoods in Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that three people were killed and several others were injured in the targeting of a residential apartment belonging to the Siam family in the Al-Fakhoura area in Jabalia camp, north of the Strip.

A woman was also killed and others were injured when the occupation targeted the vicinity of Ain Jalut School in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

In Khan Yunis, 4 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house near the European Hospital.

Massacre and condemnations

Yesterday, the occupation forces committed a massacre in a school housing displaced people in the Nuseirat camp, where Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 17 Palestinians were killed in a raid targeting a school that had previously been subjected to Israeli bombing several times.

UNRWA confirmed that 6 of its employees were killed in the shelling of Nuseirat.

In response, the relief agency said the endless and senseless killing since the start of the war on the besieged Strip had led to “the deaths of at least 220 of our staff” in Gaza.

The Commissioner-General of the Agency, Philippe Lazzarini, said that the Gaza Strip is witnessing, day after day, endless senseless killing.

He pointed out that the longer impunity continues, the more international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions lose their relevance.

In turn, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) commented on the matter and said: It is thinking of the families of these people, noting that reports indicate that the raid claimed the lives of at least two children.

UNICEF renewed its call for a ceasefire and an end to the horror in Gaza.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said what is happening in the Gaza Strip is completely unacceptable.

Guterres explained that there are very dramatic violations of humanitarian law and a complete absence of effective protection for civilians in Gaza, and he considered the lack of accountability for the killing of his organization’s employees and relief workers in the Gaza Strip to be unacceptable.

For his part, Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that words fail to describe the horror and pain of the loss of life in Gaza.

He added in a post on the “X” platform that hospitals, schools and shelters in Gaza were repeatedly bombed, “and civilians and humanitarian workers were killed,” and demanded an end to what he called the massacre in Gaza.

Demand for investigation

In a related context, the Irish Foreign Minister condemned the killing of six UNRWA employees, adding in a tweet on the X platform that humanitarian workers take exceptional risks to help those in need.

In turn, the Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli bombing and said: We strongly condemn the occupation’s renewed bombing of a UNRWA school that houses displaced persons in the Nuseirat camp.

Doha considered that “this massacre is the latest confirmation of the occupation’s criminal approach and its mockery of the principles of international humanitarian law” and called for an international investigation to find out the facts about the occupation’s continued targeting of schools and shelters for the displaced.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry also expressed its condemnation of the Israeli bombing, and stressed that the continued violation of international and humanitarian law is the result of the absence of a firm position to end the aggression on Gaza.

With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 136,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the besieged Strip.
