Today, Sunday, the occupation army carried out intensive shelling on several areas in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in martyrs, including a civil defense commander, while reports indicated that Israeli soldiers were injured in the battles.

During the past hours, Israeli warplanes launched air strikes accompanied by artillery shelling on areas from the north of the Strip to its south, including Jabalia, Gaza City, Khan Yunis and Rafah.

In the latest developments, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 4 people were killed and others were injured, including an infant, as a result of shelling that targeted a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The Israeli warplanes carried out several raids accompanied by artillery shelling on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that five people, including children, were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in the Al-Alami area in Jabalia camp, north of the Strip, at dawn today.

The Civil Defense in Gaza said that the Deputy Director of the Civil Defense in the Northern Governorate, Muhammad Abdul-Hayy Mursi, was martyred in the bombing, bringing the number of martyrs of the apparatus’ crews since the beginning of the war to 83 and more than 200 wounded.

Also in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinians were injured as a result of helicopter gunship fire north of Beit Lahia. The injured were transferred to the Indonesian Hospital, while a Palestinian was seriously injured at the Beit Hanoun (Erez) checkpoint after the occupation forces opened fire on him.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two people were killed by Israeli forces’ fire in the town of Al-Shawka, east of Rafah.

In nearby Khan Yunis, occupation aircraft targeted a residential area in the Al-Manara neighborhood, southeast of the city.

3 massacres

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli army committed 3 massacres against families in the Strip, resulting in 33 martyrs and 145 wounded arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The ministry said that the death toll from the Israeli aggression since the beginning of the war has risen to 40,972 martyrs and 94,761 wounded.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reiterated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

Previous estimates indicated that there were at least 10 martyrs under the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza.

wounded soldiers

On another note, Israeli media reported that an Israeli army helicopter landed today at Hadassah Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, transporting wounded soldiers from the Gaza Strip.

This development comes as some axes in the Gaza Strip are witnessing clashes between the resistance and the occupation forces, especially in Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south, and the southern neighborhoods of Gaza City, in addition to the vicinity of the Netzarim axis in the center of the Strip.

For its part, the Israeli army said today that its forces had eliminated what it described as militants in Rafah and had found weapons in buildings it had raided, according to its claim.

The occupation army added that its aircraft raided 25 Hamas targets, noting that its forces continue fighting in the central Gaza Strip.
