The Israeli army carried out new strikes on Lebanon during the night from Friday to Saturday, and in particular on the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut, a stronghold of Hezbollah.

The IDF claims to have bombed a mosque that served as a command center.

A strike also targeted a refugee camp in Tripoli, in the north of the country. A leader of the armed wing of Hamas was killed, according to the Islamist movement.

Hezbollah also indicated on Saturday morning that fighting with Israeli troops was underway on the border between Lebanon and Israel, near the village of Adaysseh.

US military targets Yemen’s Houthis

For its part, the American army says it has struck several targets of the Houthi rebels in Yemen in recent hours.

The airport of the large port city of Hodeidah, a military base located in the Katheib region, and the capital Sanaa were targeted by American planes and ships.

Supported by Iran like Hamas and Hezbollah, the Houthis have threatened “escalation of military operations” targeting Israel.
