Three days after his return to the British government, David Cameron has already made his first diplomatic visit to Ukraine.

In Kyiv, the new Foreign Minister met his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, Prime Minister Denys Chmyhal and President Volodymyr Zelensky, to whom he reiterated the United Kingdom’s support for Ukraine against the Russian invasion: “we will continue to give you the moral support, the diplomatic support, the economic support, but above all the military support that you need, not just this year and next year, but for as long as it takes.”

During the meeting with Dmytro Kuleba, David Cameron affirmed that the United Kingdom will help Ukraine put an end to the Russian threat in the Black Sea, and will support the smooth running of Ukrainian grain exports outside the country.

At the same time, new bombings caused numerous damages and victims in Ukraine and Russia.

In Selydove, in the Donetsk region, two people were found dead in the rubble of a residential building, targeted by Russia. Other victims could still be trapped in the ruins. This Thursday, Ukraine also claimed to have shot down 16 Russian drones.

On the Russian side, the Kursk region would have found itself without electricity after a Ukrainian attack. The Russian Defense Ministry said it had shot down two Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk region and three others near Crimea. They would not have had time to cause any casualties or damage.
