Netherlands: an international flight on board an electric plane


For two months, Maastricht Airport in the Netherlands is offering international flights on an electric plane. The initiative allows for carbon-free travel.

After a few hours of charging, the electric plane is ready to take off. And this, to two cities: Liège in Belgium, and Aachen in Germany.

For each of these two journeys of approximately 50 kilometres, you will have to pay 120 euros.

Another peculiarity due to the size of the aircraft: only one passenger will be able to sit next to the pilot. And you will have to travel light, because the total weight on board must not exceed 178 kilos.
