Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today, Sunday, that his government continues to progress in military operations and “will destroy” Hamas in the Gaza Strip, in parallel with negotiations aimed at restoring Israeli detainees from the Strip.

Netanyahu’s comments came during a visit to the “Ramon” air base (south) of the Air Force, accompanied by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, according to the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth”.

Netanyahu added: “We are fighting in the Gaza Strip, and unfortunately we have dead and injured, and stressed that the goal is clear, which is to eliminate Hamas, and we will achieve it, no matter how long it takes.”

Netanyahu claimed to continue to introduce what he called the “minimum” of humanitarian aid, and accused the United Nations of “fabricating excuses and promoting lies against Israel,” he said.

The Israeli Prime Minister claimed that there are safe aid paths that were present all the time, and today it became official. There is no room for excuses anymore, according to his claim.

These statements come hours after the Israeli army announced his “allowing” to drop limited quantities of aid to Gaza, and what he called “a local tactical comment of military activities” in specific areas in the Gaza Strip.

This Israeli step coincides with the escalation of regional and international pressure as a result of the wrapping of famine in the Strip and warnings of the danger of collective death that threatens more than 100,000 children in the Strip, as well as the Israeli army targeting the awaited aid.

The UNRWA’s Relief and Works Agency criticized the Israeli air landing of aid in Gaza, stressing that it would “not end” the worsening famine.

In early March, Israel dismissed a ceasefire and prisoner -exchange agreement with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), began on January 19, and has resumed genocide, and since then all international and international initiatives and demands have been rejected.

According to the latest outcome of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Sunday morning, the number of martyrs has increased due to famine and malnutrition since October 7, 2023 to 133 Palestinians, including 87 children.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings with the sector and prevents the entry of most food and medical aid, which has caused the spread of famine inside the sector.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has launched a war of genocide in Gaza, which includes killing, starvation, destruction and forced displacement, which is left. More than 204 thousand Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and the famine that have been tired of many.
