A diplomatic row between Israel and Paris broke out after the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused French President Emmanuel Macron of having fueled “the anti -Semitic fire” in France by planning to recognize the Palestinian state.

Netanyahu’s accusation against the French chief was contained in a letter, seen Tuesday by the AFP news agency, which said that anti -Semitism had “increased” in France since the recent announcement of President Macron according to which he will recognize Palestine as a state at a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly next month.

The office of the French president quickly retaliated in Netanyahu on Tuesday, qualifying his allegations as “abject” and “erroneous”, and promising that they “do not remain unanswered”.

“It is a moment of seriousness and responsibility, not confusion and manipulation,” said the French presidency, adding that France “protects and will always protect its Jewish citizens”.

“Violence against the Jewish (French) community is intolerable,” he said.

Reacting to the letter from Netanyahu, Benjamin Haddad, the French Deputy Minister of European Affairs, said that France had “no lessons to learn in the fight against anti-Semitism”.

The question, “which poisons our European societies”, should not be “exploited”, said Haddad.

France, which houses the largest Jewish community in Europe, has joined around 145 from the 193 UN members who recognize or now plan to recognize a Palestinian state, according to reports.

“ Encourages Jewish hatred which now tracks your streets ”

In the letter, Netanyahu told Macron: “Your call to a Palestinian state flows on this anti -Semitic fire. It is not diplomacy, it is appeasement. It rewards the terror of Hamas, hardens Hamas’ refusal to release the hostages, embraces those who threaten French Jews and encourage Jewish holly tracing your streets. “

Netanyahu’s diplomatic dust with Macron intervenes while the Israeli chief accused Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanian of being “a weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned the Jews of Australia”.

The Albanian government plans to recognize the Palestinian state and canceled the visa of the Israeli politician Simcha Rothman on Monday, whose ultra -nationalist party is in the power coalition of Netanyahu.

Rothman had to speak during events organized by Australian Jewish Association.

A few hours later, the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Saar said that he had revoked the Visas of Australia representatives to the Palestinian Authority.

“I also asked the Israeli Embassy of Canberra to carefully examine any official Australian visa request for the entry into Israel,” said Saar.

“This follows Australia’s decisions to recognize a” Palestinian State “and in the context of Australian’s unjustified refusal to grant visas to a number of Israeli figures,” he said.

Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Penny Wong called Israel’s dismissal of his diplomats a “unjustified reaction” and said that the Netanyahu government increased Israel’s diplomatic isolation on the world scene.

“At a time when dialogue and diplomacy are more necessary than ever, the Government of Netanyahu isolates Israel and undermines international efforts to peace and a solution to two states,” Wong said in a statement.

Last week, Albanese said that Netanyahu was “in the denial” of the humanitarian crisis caused by the punishing war of Israel against Gaza.

On Tuesday, Jens Laerke, the spokesperson for the United Nations Bureau for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said that the Israeli authorities had banned shelters, such as tents, to enter Gaza for about five months, a period of more than 700,000 people in the war raged by war.

Laerke said that Israel has classified tents as a “double use” because she considers that tent posts could be used for military purposes.

The spokesman for the UN Human Rights Office, Thameen al-Kheetan, warned that the military takeover of Israel in the city of Gaza threatened another humanitarian disaster.

“There are risks of mass movement and more and more murders and more misery,” he said, adding that “hundreds of” thousands of Palestinians from Gaza City were ordered to move south in the Al-Mawasi region, which, Israel, previously designated a “safe zone” but continues to bomb.
