Faced with a Ukrainian army lacking manpower and ammunition, NATO countries are not doing “enough” to help Kyiv. This was stated by Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference in Brussels.

For the NATO chief, this has consequences on the battlefield where Ukrainian soldiers are struggling to contain the Russian army.

“The Ukrainians do not lack courage, they lack ammunition. Every day lost has real consequences on the battlefield in Ukraine. This is therefore a critical moment and it would be a grave historical mistake to allow Putin to get away with it,” he said.

Fears of Ukraine’s defeat by Russia have been growing in recent weeks. As for sending ground troops to help Kyiv, this possibility has been repeatedly dismissed by leaders of NATO member countries.
