Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, said:
“We have seen an increase in acts of sabotage, cyberattacks, exploited migratory movements and other hostile actions by Russia. We will respond to Russian provocations calmly and measuredly. At the same time, we will denounce his misdeeds and impose financial sanctions on him.”
A defense strategy not seen since the Cold War was presented at a meeting of NATO defense ministers, attended by Ukrainian Minister Rustem Umerov. During this meeting, how members intend to deter and defend against global threats, particularly against Russia, was presented. An announcement of 500,000 soldiers at a high level of preparation in all areas was made.

NATO defense ministers say it is time to provide long-term support to Ukraine. They agreed on substantial assistance in training Ukrainian soldiers. They also said they needed to move closer to Ukraine’s long-term membership in NATO.
