After the Ukrainian army strike which left at least four dead on Sunday in Sevastopol, Russia directly threatened the United States with reprisals.
On Sunday, missiles from the Ukrainian army surprised residents on a beach in Sevastopol. The attack took place in a coastal area of the port city in Russian-annexed Crimea. The toll is heavy: at least four dead and around a hundred injured, including children.
After this strike, the Kremlin, which directly threatened the United States with reprisals, summoned the American ambassador. According to Russia, the attack was carried out using ATACMS missiles, recently supplied by Washington.
New attacks on Kharkiv
The same day in Kharkiv, strikes by the Russian army left at least two dead and dozens injured.
Damage in Ukraine’s second city and elsewhere in the country has forced authorities to impose frequent power cuts.
In a video released after the attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Ukraine’s allies to help strengthen its air defenses.
“Modern air defense systems for Ukraine – such as the Patriots, accelerated training of our F-16 pilots and, most importantly, sufficient range for our weapons – are really needed“, did he declare.
