More than 48,000 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa since October 7 | News


Occupied Jerusalem Official Palestinian data indicates that about 48,000 settlers and Jewish extremists have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the start of the aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, a number close to the total number of those who stormed the mosque during the year 2023.

Data published by the Jerusalem Governorate on Sunday stated that the number of settlers who stormed the mosque reached 48,126 since the beginning of the war on Gaza.

She pointed out that 167 settlers participated in the raids today, Sunday, led by extremist Knesset member Rabbi Moshe Feiglin, who incited against Al-Aqsa Mosque.

She reported that Feiglin gave a speech during the raid, in which he said, “We pray here for the Jews and the return of the prisoners to their homes by the force of the army,” adding that “the war is moving to another stage and we will win.”

He continued, inciting, “The strategy for victory must be a broad and comprehensive strategy that includes Gaza, Lebanon, and this holy place (Al-Aqsa Mosque), as it is the most important place for the Jews.”

According to data from the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, 48,223 settlers participated in storming Al-Aqsa Mosque during the year 2023.

On the other hand, the Jerusalem Governorate’s data indicates that 71 Palestinians were killed in Jerusalem or on its land during the same period, and 240 were injured by live and rubber bullets.

She added that the occupation courts issued 346 actual prison sentences, while 1,737 cases of arrest were recorded, 99 house arrest orders, 104 orders to deport from Al-Aqsa, 11 orders to prevent travel, and 336 demolition and bulldozing operations.

Regarding deportations, the governorate reported that the occupation intelligence in Jerusalem handed its governor, Adnan Ghaith, a decision today, Sunday, to renew the previous military decision to prevent him from entering the West Bank for a period of 4 months.

She pointed out that 5 military decisions were issued against Governor Ghaith since he assumed his duties in 2018, in addition to a sixth decision to detain him at home for more than two years until now, all of which are renewed periodically.
