More than 20 martyrs in Gaza and children dying from the cold news


Medical sources confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune a count of 22 martyrs, including 5 journalists, as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday.

Medical sources reported that 3 newborns died due to cold and low temperatures during the past 48 hours in the besieged Gaza Strip.

There are many areas in the Gaza Strip that witnessed targeting by the occupation army, resulting in a number of martyrs and wounded, in Gaza City, Rafah in the south, and Jabalia in the north.

Gaza City

In the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City (central Strip), Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent confirmed that the number of martyrs from the Israeli bombing had risen to 8 people. Local Palestinian sources reported earlier that more than 40 people were under the rubble as a result of the occupation army’s bombing of a house for the Dalloul family in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Also in Gaza City, specifically in the Al-Sabra area south of the city, the Gaza Civil Defense confirmed the recovery of the bodies of 5 martyrs in a building targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip witnessed another bombing by the occupation army’s aircraft on a broadcast vehicle belonging to Al-Quds Channel in front of Al-Awda Hospital, according to what was reported by Al-Jazeera’s correspondent. Local Palestinian platforms reported that 5 journalists were martyred in the bombing of the broadcast vehicle.

This brings the number of journalist martyrs to 201 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to what the Government Information Office in Gaza reported.

South and north

Southern Gaza was not free from Israeli targeting, as Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported the recovery of the bodies of two martyrs following Israeli bombing on the Musabah area, north of the city of Rafah.

Going north, where the bombing, military operations, and attempts to displace residents intensify, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a house in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip witnessed violent Israeli artillery shelling targeting the hospital’s surroundings, according to what local Palestinian sources reported.

Local sources also reported that a doctor at Kamal Adwan Hospital was injured when the occupation forces blew up a robot in front of the hospital. The sources explained that fragments of the explosion reached the surgical departments and patients’ accommodation.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 154,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters.
