Israeli media confirmed that more than 100 missiles had been fired from Lebanon at the northern regions since the morning, while Hezbollah announced the bombing of more than one target in several areas of Israel.
In the latest developments, the Israeli army stated that it had recently detected the launching of 10 missiles at the areas of central Galilee and Haifa in northern Israel, and was able to intercept some of them.
The Israeli Home Front announced that sirens sounded in central Galilee, Upper Galilee, and Lower Galilee.
Sirens also sounded in the city of Nahariya and its environs, the shores of Lake Tiberias, and towns in the Western Galilee in northern Israel, according to Israeli Channel 12 (private).
The channel reported monitoring the launching of 10 missiles from Lebanon at Nahariya, after more than 20 missiles were fired at the Western Galilee region near the Lebanese border.
She said that a missile fell in Nahariya and caused a fire, and a missile also fell north of the Sea of Galilee.
In successive statements, Hezbollah announced that it had bombed several targets and gatherings of Israeli soldiers in locations including the settlement of Yiftah, Beit Sida, and Marbad al-Zaoura in the occupied Golan, confirming that it had achieved direct casualties as a result of those attacks.
Since September 23, Israel has launched the most violent and widespread attack on Lebanon since the start of the confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago, resulting as of Monday afternoon at least 962 dead, including children and women, and 2,778 wounded.
In parallel, sirens continue to sound at an unprecedented rate across Israel, following heavy Hezbollah firing of missiles, drones, and artillery shells targeting military sites and settlements, amid a strict blackout from Israeli military oversight of human and material losses, according to observers.
