The military and strategic expert, Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi, confirmed that the Palestinian resistance is capable of causing pain to the Israeli occupation with its qualitative operations despite the imbalance of power, indicating that combat doctrine and belief in the cause compensate for the difference in military capabilities.
Al-Sammadi explained in the military analysis section that the occupation army seeks to expand its operations in the northern Gaza Strip area to eliminate pockets of resistance, committing more crimes against civilians.
But he stressed that the resistance still maintains its capabilities to monitor, reconnaissance, and carry out direct engagement operations.
Yesterday, Sunday, Israeli Army Radio said that 3 soldiers were injured – one of them in serious condition – in the explosion of an explosive device in a tank in the Gaza Strip.
The radio added that the soldiers were injured during a raid launched by the Harel Brigade in the central Gaza Strip.
Complex operations
For his part, the Israeli army spokesman said that a reserve soldier was seriously injured during battles in the center of the Gaza Strip.
The military expert pointed out the success of the resistance in carrying out complex qualitative operations, such as attacking buildings in which the occupation soldiers are holed up and storming them closely, stressing that these operations leave a great psychological and moral impact on the Israeli soldiers.
Al-Sammadi pointed to the escalation in the pace of specific resistance operations, noting the killing of two Israeli soldiers in the detonation of an explosive device in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to the increase in stabbing operations.
The Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – also announced yesterday, Sunday, that one of its fighters stormed an Israeli troop carrier and carried out a specific operation by detonating a guerrilla action device among the soldiers who were inside it at the entrance to the Al-Awda Towers in Izbet Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The military expert considered that this escalation indicates the decline in morale of the occupation soldiers and their fatigue from this “futile war.”
Combat doctrine
He stressed that the war has become “existential” for the resistance, which pushes its fighters from various factions to be brave in the confrontation despite the difference in military strength.
He added that “combat doctrine, faith in God, and valor” work to balance the balance of power tilted in favor of the occupation.
Regarding the possibility of Israel changing its calculations in light of the continuation of specific resistance operations, Al-Sammadi explained that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is betting on depleting the resistance’s capabilities.
But he stressed that the resistance is capable of inflicting painful losses on the ranks of the occupation, even with bladed weapons and stabbing operations, in light of the fact that no one knows what remains in its arsenal of missiles and weapons.
