The military and strategic expert, Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi, confirmed that the Palestinian resistance still has the ability to deliver painful blows to the Israeli occupation, despite the strict siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out – during the military analysis section – that the recent operations in the Jabalia region, which included the bombing of an Israeli tank, confirm the effectiveness of the resistance’s military tactics.
Al-Sammadi explained that the resistance in Gaza depends on a careful study of the geography of the region, especially in the camps with narrow alleys, which allows it to accurately determine the paths of movement of Israeli vehicles.
He added that the resistance follows a special method through which anti-tank bombs and weapons are prepared and hidden tightly underground, to be used at the appropriate time.
The military expert stated that the remaining network of tunnels gives resistance fighters flexibility in movement and carrying out operations.
He also pointed out that the widespread destruction in the Strip, which exceeds 86% of the buildings, has turned into a tactical advantage, as the scattered concrete blocks have become barricades that facilitate the movement of fighters and hide them from the eyes of the occupation forces and reconnaissance aircraft.
A plan for displacement
Al-Sammadi pointed out that the Israeli military operation in northern Gaza carries political goals that go beyond military goals, explaining that the real goal is “displacement, settlement, and killing,” which makes it an existential battle for the resistance.
He pointed out that Israel seeks to displace between 200 and 400 thousand Palestinians from the North Governorate and Gaza City.
Al-Sammadi warned of the existence of an Israeli plan to permanently control northern Gaza, pointing to the establishment of 4 fortified points and military fortifications along the “Netzarim” axis, which has been expanded from 2 to 4 kilometers.
He added that the area from north of the Bureij camp to the Netzarim axis is subjected to daily bombardment by tanks and aircraft.
According to a strategic vision, the military expert believes that Israel is seeking to achieve the goal of “Gaza without residents or Gaza without Hamas,” stressing that the resistance’s continued implementation of qualitative operations constitutes a major challenge to these plans, despite Israel’s military superiority and the size of the forces participating in the operation.
