Military expert: The occupation will continue to evacuate northern Gaza despite its losses news

Military expert Major General Muhammad Al-Sammadi expected that the occupation army would continue to escalate operations in the northern Gaza Strip to completely evacuate it of residents, despite the heavy losses it is suffering at the hands of the resistance.

Al-Sammadi said in an analysis of the military scene in the sector that both parties are exerting maximum pressure for negotiations, and that they have reached the point of exhaustion and have suffered many losses during the last period.

The military expert believes that the occupation army is facing a major process of attrition in the north, which has prompted it to withdraw the Kfir Brigade and keep the Nahal and Givati Brigades to continue operating in the region.

The occupation army is trying to turn northern Gaza into a buffer zone and subject it to military rule and settlement after completely emptying it of residents and resistance, according to Al-Sammadi.

The war has exhausted its purposes

Despite Israeli media talk that what the army leaders are saying in public is contrary to what is being circulated behind closed doors, Al-Sammadi expected to continue his operations in the north “in the absence of any international or regional position on this genocide.”

Yesterday, Tuesday, the occupation army announced the killing of a soldier from the Nahal Brigade in battles in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll from the same brigade to 3 within 24 hours.

On Monday, the Israeli army spokesman announced the killing of a deputy company commander and a soldier from the same company affiliated with Nahal, in addition to the serious wounding of two others. Army Radio said that the company lost its elite leaders with the killing of its commander and his deputy.

At the same time, Channel 13 quoted senior army officers as saying that Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy was forced to talk about continuing pressure on the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in front of the cameras, and that the situation was completely different in closed rooms.

The officers added that the army commanders believe that the ground operation in Gaza has exhausted its purpose, and that the soldiers will return to the same locations unless a deal is reached, which, they said, will incur heavy costs for the Israeli army.

The same sources also confirmed that “announcing the numbers of those killed by those they describe as saboteurs (resistance fighters) and bragging about this matter does not mean progress in negotiations to return the kidnapped (prisoners) or dismantling the authority of Hamas.”

However, Al-Sammadi expressed his belief that the army will continue to move forward with the northern operation, and said that what is currently happening in this region is “much worse than what was planned in the generals’ plan.”
