The military and strategic expert, Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi, said that the Palestinian resistance is gaining qualitative combat capabilities over time, and by controlling Israeli drones, it makes the occupation lose intelligence information.
Al-Sammadi’s words came in the context of his comment on the scenes shown by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), regarding the clash of its fighters with the Israeli occupation forces penetrating Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, and the seizure of a number of drones.
Despite the dangerous environment in which resistance fighters move, they – Major General Al-Sammadi continues – show professionalism in carrying out their operations, including, for example, the accuracy of hitting the target when using the “Al-Yassin 105” missile, and their insistence on confronting the occupation forces in this existential war, speaking of the strategic patience of these people. Regarding the drones, Major General Al-Sammadi explained that the Palestinian resistance was either able to shoot down these drones or control them, and he expressed his belief that the resistance’s cybersecurity system is effective, as evidenced by the fact that drones were seized in good condition.
In this context, he said that the resistance factions were quick to obtain the tapes recorded on the drones, download the data, and use them against the occupation army, noting that the resistance fighters used some of these drones as suicide planes, and attacked with them areas where the Israeli occupation army gathered.
Yesterday, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades broadcast scenes that it said showed its fighters seizing a number of Israeli occupation drones in the eastern areas of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
According to the military and strategic expert, the Israeli occupation loses a lot when the resistance seizes its drones, most notably the loss of intelligence information. At the tactical level, seizing the drones means blinding the mechanized infantry units and tanks.
He also pointed out that there has been a state of Israeli intelligence activity in the recent period, using small tactical aircraft or manned aircraft with intelligence systems, cameras and sensors, in an attempt to reach prisoners and the places of resistance and monitor tunnel networks.
